Brewers from China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan win medals at the 2024 World Beer Cup

This year’s 2024 World Beer Cup was held in Las Vegas, Nevada on 24 April. The World Beer Cup competition was first run in 1996, and is organised by the US-based Brewers Association, which represents primarily small and independent breweries.

Over the years it has grown into one of the biggest and most prestigious annual award events. At this year’s ceremony, gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded across 110 beer styles. There were 290 judges at the event, drawn from 37 countries, to assess the 9,300 beers produced by the 2,060 breweries that participated, which spanned 50 countries.
